Unsettled central Europe with heavy showers and thunderstorms


Tuesday
A mostly dry and fine day across Spain and Portugal though afternoon thunderstorms flare up over northern areas. Dry and fine too for southern Italy while afternoon showers affect northern areas. Showers affect Greece and much of Turkey too - some of them heavy and thundery.
A dry and fine start for much of France with thunderstorms flaring up later, especially to the southeast. A dry and sunny day for the Low Countries and much of Germany. Isolated showers affect the far east of Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary though there will be good spells of sunshine in between.
Staying bright across Norway and Sweden though showers flare up here later. Dry and fine for Finland, Denmark and much of the Baltic region. Low pressure brings patchy outbreaks of rain into southeastern parts of Latvia and Lithuania.


Wednesday
Heavy and thundery showers or rain affecting northern Spain and western Portugal today. Dry with sunshine in the rest of Iberia. A fair day for Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered thundery showers in Italy. Greece should be fine and warm. Plenty of sunshine for much of Turkey, although some showers to the north.
France will have a very unsettled day. There will be heavy and thundery showers or longer spells of rain. Further rain and showers in the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. It is likely to be wet in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland with further showers.
Denmark may have a few showers to the south, but fair elsewhere. A few showers in Denmark. Finland will be dry with sunny spells. Sweden will be bright with some sunshine. Norway will be seeing some showers developing in the afternoon.
