More mixed throughout Europe. Cold Scandinavia.

Thursday
Unsettled still through the northern half of Spain and Portugal with heavy showers as well as longer spells of rain about and blustery winds. Feeling cooler. Drier further south though mostly cloudy. Cloudier across the Balearics but mainly dry. A few scattered showers through southern Italy though many will be dry with sunny spells. The odd isolated shower or two through Greece and Turkey but most will be dry here.
Heavy showers affecting much of south and west France again today. A cool day here. The Low Countries see any showers largely fizzle out as higher pressure ridges across. Showery rain clears to the east in Germany too. Rain moves in to western Poland, staying dry further east. Scattered showers across Austria and Switzerland.
Rain initially across Denmark will clear to dry and mainly fine day here. Rain clears eastern Sweden and pushes in and across the Baltics with strengthened winds here. Rain and snow move in across north and west Norway, drier further east.

Friday
An area of low pressure circulates over the Bay of Biscay bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain to southern and western France, though gradually clearing from the south here, as well as northern Spain. The rain gradually encroaches across more of Portugal through the day. Showers and longer spells of rain push through the Balearics where it will feel cool. Mostly dry across Italy though the odd shower or two cannot be ruled out. Scattered showers across Greece and Turkey but most will remain dry.
North France should remain dry with sunny spells. Cloudy, wet and cool across the Low Countries and northern Germany. Drier across southern Germany. Showery rain gradually clearing from the west through Poland though southern and eastern areas always under cloud and some rain. Showery rain pushing on to northern regions of Austria and Switzerland otherwise dry with sunny spells.
A windy and wet day across Denmark though rain should ease back here. Some showery rain reaching southern Baltic countries while Estonia should remain mostly dry. Largely dry across Finland and Sweden. Snow showers pushing on to western regions of Norway on a brisk northerly wind.
