Local heavy showers

Fair through Spain and Portugal on Wednesday, plenty of sunshine and dry. More sunshine for Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered showers in northern Italy, otherwise dry here. Fine, sunny and warm for Greece with more fine weather to come through Turkey.
Fair weather in France, good sunny spells. Dry too in the Low Countries and Germany. Cooler in Poland with some showers in the east. Heavy and thundery showers in eastern Hungary, but fine in Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark should be fair with more sunshine throughout. Cool for the Baltic Staes in a mix of sunshine and showers. Those showers affect Finland too. Sweden will be dry and cool. Fair in southern Norway but staying cool whilst there will be some heavy showers in northern Norway.

Warm and dry across western Europe, with high pressure centred around the Low Countries. Warmest temperatures in Portugal, western parts of Spain and France, aided by local Foehn effects over the hills, and a breeze blowing from the interior of Iberia out to the coast, locally well into the 30s Celsius.
Dry and sunny across the west and central Mediterranean, including Italy. Also dry for the Alps, Germany and into southern Scandinavia. Meanwhile, a chilly northerly breeze affects the eastern part of Europe and northern Scandinavia, bringing showery conditions to Norway, the Baltic States, Poland and Romania. Some more persistent rain is likely to affect Ukraine and Belarus. Scattered thundery showers for Greece.
