Unsettled across northern Europe, mainly dry across southern areas.


Wednesday
Into Wednesday and many northern areas of Europe will be mild and unsettled as low pressure dominates bringing wet and windy weather to much of the British Isles and also up across Norway, Sweden and Finland with some large snowfall possible across Norway in particular. High pressure will, however, dominate across mouch of central and southern areas of Europe, with fine weathe racross France, into Switzerland and eastwards towards Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. Fine weather is also expected across Iberia with some sunshine and towards Italy as well. However, low pressure is likely to bring some cold weather to Greece along with some rain and showers, wintry on the mountains.


Thursday
On Thursday and the distinct north and south divide in conditions will continue across most of Europe. Low pressure will maintain unsettled weather across the British Isles and much of Scandinavia including, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland with rain and showers, but also with some significant snow at altitude. In contrast high pressure maintains fine weather through the Med, especially across Italy. Low pressure is still likely to bring some showery conditions to Greece and it will be cold here in association with east or north-easterly wind. A weather front is likely to introduce cool and showery conditions across France and parts of Spain and Portugal through the day.
