Staying thundery in the south, but dry and sunnier north
Rain and heavy showers or thunderstorms across Portugal and Spain today. Fewer showers in northern Spain. Showers and cloud in the Balearics. Scattered showers for Italy, most in the north. Greece will be mostly dry and sunny although isolated showers in the north. Scattered showers too in Turkey with lots of sunshine.
Thunderstorms developing in southern France. Most of central and northern France will be dry and bright with good spells of sunshine. Fair too in the Low Countries and Germany. Poland will have further sunshine and should be dry. Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland with thundery showers, some of them heavy.
Denmark will be dry and fair with plenty of sunshine. The Baltic States will be dry too with more sunshine here. Finland is going to be remaining dry and bright with sunshine. Further sunshine to come through Sweden and staying dry. Scattered showers in northern Norway but fair for most.
Heavy showers in northern and eastern Spain. Drier for the southern areas of Spain and Portugal. Showers in the Balearics, some heavy. Thunderstorms in Corsica and Sardinia with further thunderstorms afecting central and southern Italy. Greece will be thundery too, especially in the west but fair in the east. Widespread, torrential thunderstorms forming in Turkey.
Heavy showers for southern France, but central and northern areas stays dry and sunny. Morning cloud and then sunshine in the Low Countries and Germany. Bright and dry for Poland. A fair day for Hungary but some showers developing in Austria and these will be heavy and thundery in Switzerland.
Fine but cool in Denmark. It will be dry too with sunshine in the Baltic States. Fair in central and southern areas of Sweden but some showers in the north. Sweden should be dry and bright in the south, soe showers to the north and feeling cold here too.
