Springtime warmth south, chilly for Scandinavia

Monday
Heavy showers and some thunderstorms for northern and eastern Spain. A few showers in southern Portugal. Corsica and Sardinia should be fair with sunny spells. Frequent, heavy and thundery showers affecting eastern areas of Italy but dry in the west. Greece will see an area of thundery showers developing in many areas in the afternoon. Western Turkey also sees the heavy showers although the east should be dry.
Fair for much of France with sunny spells, but some showers in the east and north. The Low Countries should be fair with sunshine and dry weather. Rain and showers in the south of Germany but fair to the north. Poland will have more showers and some rain in the south with sunshine in the north. Fair for much of Hungary but some rain and showers in Austria and Hungary.
Fair in Denmark with sunny spells. The Baltic States should be fine with sunshine. Breezy in Finland, windy to the north with rain. Breezy across Sweden too although dry with sunny spells. Some wintry showers for the north and west of Norway where there will be gales too. Fair for southern Norway.

Tuesday
A showery weather situation continues across central and southern Europe under shallow low pressure. Some slow-moving thundery downpours forming by the afternoon, but these locally hit and miss. Southern and central Spain sees the showers, whilst Portugal and northern Spain will be mainly dry. Showers for central Italy, drier toward the south including Sicily.
Showers forming for southern France, Alpine regions and southern Germany during the day, also the Czech Republic. Scattered afternoon showers for Hungary and Romania. Similar afternoon showers for the Balkans, Greece and Turkey. Mainly dry for the islands of Crete and Cyprus.
Mainly dry across northern France, the Low Countries, Poland and southern Scandinavia. A weak cold front may bring a little rain to northern Germany and Poland for a time. Showery and chilly in northern Scandinavia, frequent wintry showers in northern Norway also Finland.
