Thundery central Europe, fine and hot in the Mediterranean
Showers continue over the far north of Spain on Tuesday while thunderstorms flare up over northern and central parts of Spain and northern Portugal through the afternoon. Dry, hot and sunny elsewhere in Iberia. Continuing mostly dry, very warm and sunny across the Mediterranean though parts of Corsica and the southern half of Italy could see an isolated shower through the afternoon.
Isolated showers over the southern half of France on Tuesday. Fresher to the north where it should stay dry and bright. Dry and sunny too for the Low Countries and Germany. Heavy showers, some thundery, continuing for parts of Switzerland and Austria. A band of heavy showers clears southern Poland through the morning followed by another band of showers into the northern half of the country later.
A dry and mostly bright day for Denmark while the Baltic States will be rather overcast with thundery outbreaks of rain. Mostly dry and bright for Norway, Sweden and Finland though there will be some showers and outbreaks of rain at times. These heaviest and most persistent for southern Finland and western Norway.
Fine and hot in Spain and Portugal, thundery showers in northern Spain. The Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia will be dry and very warm. A few showers in central and northern Italy. Greece and Turkey will be hot and dry, again with lots of sunshine.
Some thundery showers developing in southern France. Dry with sunny spells in central and northern France. The Low Countries and Germany should be dry with lots of sunshine. A few showers in northern Poland, dry and fair to the south. Fine in Hungary but showers in Austria. The showers heavy and thundery for Switzerland.
Showers in Denmark, a few of them heavy. Fine fo much of Sweden but some further showers in the Baltic States. Finland will be bright and dry. Heavy showers or longer spells of rain in western and northern Norway.
