An area of low pressure brings unsettled conditions to northern Europe

Monday
Isolated showers over the far north of Spain fade to leave a dry, sunny and warm day for the country along with Portugal, the Balearic Islands, Corsica and Sardinia. Dry, warm and sunny too for Italy with just a slight chance of a shower developing to the northwest. Greece and Turkey too see dry, bright and warm conditions on Monday.
A band of heavy rain extends over Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, southern Germany, Switzerland and western France on Monday morning. This edges eastward through the day leaving mostly dry and bright conditions in its wake for the Low Countries, eastern France and northern Germany.
A showery day for Denmark with rain arriving later. One band of rain edges northward over northern Norway and Sweden while another band of heavy rain arrives from the south later. This may be thundery. After a dry start to the day, a band of heavy, sometimes thundery, rain arrives over Finland and the Baltic States.

Tuesday
Dry, sunny and very warm conditions extend across the Mediterranean on Tuesday with settled, fine weather for Portugal, Spain, the Balearic Islands, Italy, the Balkans, Greece and Turkey. Just a slight chance of light showers developing over northern Spain and Italy as well as northeastern Turkey.
A cloudy day with patchy outbreaks of rain for northwestern France, the Low Countries and northwestern Germany. Staying dry and fine for southeastern parts of France and Germany as well as for Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and southern Poland. Cloudier with isolated showers for northern Poland, Austria and Hungary.
Low pressure centred over Scandinavia brings mixed, unsettled conditions to Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Baltic States and Denmark. A wet and windy day for Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden while a band of heavy and persistent rain affects eastern portions of Finland and the Baltic States.
