Unsettled, showery central and northern areas but fine and warm mediterranean


Tuesday
A fair day for much of Spain and Portugal, lots of hot sunshine, into the upper 30s Celsuis in the south, fresher toward Biscay. Also hot and sunny for the Balearics and Sicily. South and western France should be dry too with sunshine.
Thunderstorms breaking out over the Alps, southern Germany, plus north and central Italy. Thundery showers too for the Balkans and mainland Greece. Mostly dry for the Greek islands, Cyprus and the coasts of Turkey, but some downpours in central Turkey.
Showers for eastern France and the Low Countries. Areas of rain over southern Scandinavia, some showers for the Baltic states. Also showery and cool for northern Norway. Northern Sweden and Finland should be mostly dry.


Wednesday
Fair for most of Spain and Portugal, although some cloud and showers in northern Spain. The Mediterranean is going to be staying mostly fair with good spells of sunshine. Italy will have lots of sunshine and dry conditions, although some showers in central and northern areas. Scattered showers over Greece as well as Turkey.
More unsettled in central parts of Europe with showers here, some of them heavy at times. Bands of showers will be moving from west to east. The heaviest of the showers in Germany and Switzerland where there may be thunderstorms.
Denmark will have some showers, but also a few sunny spells. Further cloud and some rain in the Baltic States. Showers for Finland, a few of them heavy. Unsettled over Sweden and southern and central Norway with a risk of some heavy showers. Drier in the north of Norway and Sweden although a chance of showers on Norwegian coasts.
