Dry and settled west Europe
Mosty fair through Spain and Portugal today. There will be good spells of sunshine and it should be dry. Italy is likely to have a dry day too with more sunshine here. Greece remains dry and mostly sunny, with more dry weather in western Turkey. Eastern Turkey will be colder with some rain and snow, this extending into Cyprus where the day will be wet and chilly.
France will be breezy in the north with sunny spells. Windy through the Low Countries, some rain or showers here. Further wind and showers across Germany and Poland, these turning wintry at times. Hungary will have some heavy showers, and the unsettled weather extends through Austria and Switzerland.
Windy and wet at times for Denmark, sleet and snow here later. Sleet also afecting the Baltic States, turning to snow and becoming windy. The wind also affecting Finland with some snow in the south and east. Sweden should be drier and feeling cold. Heavy snow showers for much of western and northern Norway.
Dry and fine through Spain and Portugal as well as the Balearics. Mostly dry across Corsica with the risk of some scattered showers across Sardinia and western regions of mainland Italy. Elsewhere across Italy will be dry with sunny spells. Largely dry and fine through Greece and Turkey.
Largely dry across France though mist and fog culd be a problem for some centrally and further south. Breezy across the Low Countries with rain clearing to the north. Cloudy with outbreaks of rain across Germany, Austria and much of Switzerland along with blustery winds. Showery rain easing across Poland with sunny spells developing.
Dry across Denmark today though building cloud in the west later. Mostly dry through Norway and Sweden with sunny spells. Showery rain through the Baltic States and southeast Finland, otherwise dry across the rest of Finland though much cloud about.
