A more settled Scandinavia


Thursday
An unsettled day in Spain and Portugal with periods of rain in northern and western Spain and Portugal. Drier in the southeast with sunny spells. The Balearics will be dry and fair. More sunshine and dry weather in Italy as well as through western Turkey. Some showers in the east of Turkey.
Wind and rain in France, some of the rain heavy in the east. Showery bursts of rain for the Netherlands in the afternoon. Mostly fair and mild in Germany. Plenty of sunshine and dry weather for Poland. Hungary will be fair and dry as well as sunny. Austria stays fine, but then some heavy rain in the far west of Switzerland.
Breezy in Denmark with increasing cloud. Fair for the Baltic States with lots of sunshine and dry weather. The fair weather continues in Finland. Sweden will be fair and dry, More fine weather for southern Norway but rain in the north.


Friday
An area of rain will push across Portugal and on across Spain today with showers pushing on to westeren areas behind. Drier further east. The risk of an odd shower through the Balearics otherwise largely dry. Dry and fine with plenty of sun across Italy, Greece and Turkey.
Windy again across northern France, less so further south, though outbreaks of rain expected across the country. Dry with sunny spells in between. Windy with spells of rain for the Low Countries with heavy rain and gusty winds pushing across northern Germany, Drier further south. Dry across much of Poland, Austria and the Balkans as well as the rest of eastern Europe. Heavy rain for a time across Switzerland.
Staying largely dry and settled across Scandinavia with plenty of sunshine about, though it becomes breezy with outbreaks of rain moving in across Denmark.
