High pressure staying dominant across much of Europe through the weekend.

Saturday
After a dry start to Spain and Portugal, expect cloud and rain to push in to the northwest. Overnight thunderstorms and rain should clear through the day across the Balearics. Some showery rain still to affect Sardinia and Corsica as well as Sicily and far southern regions of Italy, but drier elsewhere across Italy. Thundery rain largely clears Greece through the day but continues across Turkey.
Thanks to high pressure over top it is to be mainly dry across Europe with sunny spells, though cloudier with some patchy light rain affecting parts of the Netherlands and coastal regions of Germany later.
Windy and chilly across Scandinavia as well as Denmark as low pressure is dominant. Expect showery rain across Norway. Largely dry for southern Sweden but spells of heavy rain for a time in the north. Outbreaks of rain affecting much of Finland. Sme blustery showers passing across the Baltics.

Sunday
After a cloudy morning with patchy rain for northern and central Spain and across much of Portugal conditions should improve through the day. A few scattered showers and cloudier skies expected across the Balearics. The odd shower for Sardinia but largely dry here as well as Corsica. Showers still across Sicily and southern Italy but largely dry elsewhere across Italy. Showers still plaguing Greece but a drier day across much of Turkey.
Still a settled scene across much of Europe with dry and bright conditions for many, although, again, coastal regions of the Netherlands as well as far northern parts of Germany and southern Denmark will see spells of rain.
An improved day across southern regions of Norway but showery rain still expected further north while feeling cold in the strong northerly wind. A brisk wind still across Sweden but mainly dry here. Outbreaks of rain still across Finland and the Baltics as well as feeling chilly in the brisk wind.
