France seeing heavy, thundery showers

Friday
A mostly dry and fine day across Spain and Portugal, though increasing cloud and the risk of some heavy rain in the far northwest of Spain and Portugal later. Dry across the Balearics as well as much of Italy, though the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Any showers will ease off across Greece and Turkey though it will remain windy and blustery.
Scattered showers about across France though these should ease back for many through the day with sunshine developing. Possible patchy rain in places across the Low Countries but most will be dry. Shower and longer spells of rain across Germany with heavy rain pushing through Switzerland and Austria. Much of eastern Europe looks dry and fine though rain moving in to western Poland later.
Weather deteriorates across Denmark with spells of heavy rain moving in and blustery winds. Rain, sleet and snow affecting northern regions of Norway and Sweden, drier elsewhere here. A dry day in the Baltics and southern Finland but persistent rain further north.

Some scattered thundery showers affecting northern Spain, while largely dry and fine elsewhere here and across Portugal. One or two showers could affect the Balearics too. Largely dry and sunny across Italy though heavy showers in the far north. Dry and fine through Greece and the Turkish Resorts.
Thundery, heavy showers as well as longer spells of rain affecting central and southern France as well as Switzerland. Dry with sunny spells further north as well as across the Low Countries. Germany is mostly fine though has a slightly higher risk of a scattered lighter shower or two. Showers easing across Austria and clearing much of Czechia. Scattered showers affecting Poland.
Largely dry and fine across Denmark. Areas of low pressure circulating over Scandinavia will see outbreaks of rain in places here, snow to the north. Some showery rain moving in to the Baltics later though mainly dry here.
