Settled conditions spreading from the west across central Europe


Sunday
A mostly dry, hot and sunny day across the Mediterranean on Sunday. Portugal, the Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia, Italy, the Balkans, Greece and Turkey all experiencing settled conditions. A few showers may flare up over central and northern parts of Spain through the afternoon and into Sunday evening but elsewhere it will stay dry & fine.
A mostly dry and fair day for France and the Low Countries though some showers could develop over southeastern parts of France. A showery day too for eastern and southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and northern parts of Hungary. These showers may be locally heavy and thundery in nature over more eastern areas.
Outbreaks of rain continuing to affect northeastern parts of Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden on Sunday. A showery day for the southern Baltic States but dry and fine for Latvia and much of Finland. A dry, fine day for eastern parts of Sweden; wetter to the west and for central and northern parts of Norway.

Monday
Another mostly dry, hot and sunny day across the Mediterranean again on Monday. Portugal, the Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia, the Balkans, Greece and Turkey all continue to experience settled conditions. A few showers may flare up over eastern parts of Spain and central Italy through the afternoon and evening but elsewhere it will stay dry & fine.
Dry and settled conditions prevail over much of western and central Europe too on Monday. Very warm in France with good spells of sunshine. Dry, fine and mostly bright for the Low Countries, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and western Poland. Some scattered showers affecting eastern Poland and the Alpine region.
A band of rain sweeps into southern parts of Norway and Sweden and across Denmark on Monday. Ahead of this there will be frequent showers for much of Norway and Sweden. Outbreaks of rain too for the Baltic States while Finland will be mostly dry with just the odd isolated shower.
