Hot & sunny conditions for western and central Europe, fresher for Scandinavia


Saturday
A hot and sunny day in Spain and Portugal. Fine through the Mediterranean with more sunshine. Hot weather extends into Greece and southern Turkey. Cloud and thundery showers in northern Turkey.
Hot again in France with more sunshine. Staying dry and sunny as well as hot over the Low Countries and Germany. Poland will be dry and sunny as well as hot. Switzerland and Hungary as well as Austria are going to be sunny and dry.
Denmark is going to be dry and sunny. Hazy sunshine in the Baltic States. A risk of some drizzle in Finland. Hazy sunshine and warm weather in Sweden, just the odd shower for central parts. Showery rain in central and northern Norway. Bright to the south with sunny spells.

Sunday
Another hot and sunny day for Portugal and Spain. Some thundery showers possible for western Spain. Dry, hot and sunny across the rest of the Mediterranean.
A band of cloud with some light, scattered showers works in across northwestern France, the Low Countries and northwest Germany on Sunday while southern parts of France, Switzerland and Austria may see the odd thundery downpour. Elsewhere, southeastern parts of France and Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary will see the continuation of hot, dry conditions.
Hazy sunshine but dry for Denmark and the Baltic States on Sunday. A few light showers for southern Finland but elsewhere dry and bright. A band of heavy rain works its way northward over central parts of Norway and Sweden followed by scattered showers. Drier and sunny to the south.
