Some heavy showers affecting southern Spain, but fine across central and Northern Europe
Easterly winds and rain affects southern Spain, but the north of Spain and Portugal will be generally dry. Thundery showers for Sicily and scattered showers elsewhere for Italy, the Mediterranean and southern France.
An ongoing risk of widespread snow for the Balkans and Bulgaria, with showers also extending to Greece and Turkey. Cool winds coming in from the east off the Black Sea into these areas. A generally cool feel affects much of central Europe as an easterly airflow prevails. Extensively dry for central-northern countries from Ukraine to Poland, Germany and the Low Countries as high pressure remains in charge.
A strong southwesterly flow affects Scandinavia, with a front to the northwest bringing rain to the north of Norway. Dry for southern Scandinavia, and areas around the Baltic also stay dry.
Showers in eastern and southern Spain on Wednesday. Further heavy showers in Corsica and Sardinia with some heavy and thundery rain in Sicily and southern Italy. Some showers in eastern Italy too. Fair in the west of Greece, but some heavy showers in eastern Turkey.
Fine in France with plenty of sunshine. Further sunshine and dry weather for the Low Countries and Germany. Poland should be fair with sunny periods. The sunshine in Hungary and dry here as well. Austria and Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells, just a few showers in southern Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark with more sunshine to come here throughout the day. Staying fair in much of Swedebn, windy in the north. The Baltic States should remain fair, whilst strong winds and dry weather affect Finland. Norway will have rain in the west, some of it heavy.
