Fair most of central and southern Europe, heavy showers in Spain


Tuesday

A mixed day for Portugal, Spain and the Balearic Islands with some broken cloud, good spells of sunshine and scattered showers. A mostly dry and sunny for Corsica, Sardinia and Italy though afternoon showers could develop for southern parts of Italy and Sicily. Dry and sunny for the Balkans while showers, some heavy, continue over Greece and Turkey. These tend to get squeezed to the south through the day with brighter conditions spreading from the north.
Some broken cloud around for western France, the Low Countries and northern Germany with a chance of isolated showers developing here. Dry, sunny and warm for central and eastern France, central and southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Belarus, Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria.
Dry and bright conditions again for Denmark and southern Sweden. Starting dry and bright for the Baltic States though a band of rain moves into Estonia and Latvia later. Cloudy with outbreaks of patchy rain for Finland and northern Sweden. Mostly dry with broken cloud for Norway though showers affect western coastal regions.

Wednesday
Showers, some heavy in northwest Spain and Portugal. Eastern and southern Spain dry with sunny spells. A fair day in Corsica and Sardinia as well as Italy. Lots of sunshine here. More sunshine to come across Greece, some heavy showers in southern Turkey.
Fair for most of France with more sunshine. Scattered showers in the north and west, dry elsewhere. Isolated showers affecting the Low Countries and northern Germany. Much of Poland should be dry with sunny spells. A fair day in Hungary and Austria, but scattered showers in Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark, sunny spells. The Baltic States wil be dry with sunshine, breezy as well. Staying breezy in Finland, sunny spells and mostly dry. Breezy in Sweden but Showers to the north. Heavy showers in Norway, these falling as sleet and snow.
