High pressure continues to bring dry and fine conditions to many in Europe

Outbreaks of heavy rain and thundery showers for Portugal and western Spain on Friday. These spread across central Spain later. Thundery showers may also affect the Balearic Islands at times. Mostly dry and fair for Italy with good spells of sunshine here. A few showers may affect the far south. Thundery showers for western and southern parts of Greece but fair elsewhere. Thundery showers also affect coastal regions of Turkey while rain and sleet showers develop to the east.
High pressure centred near the Czech Republic brings a dry and fine day to much of central Europe. Dry and sunny for much of France though cloud builds later to the west. Dry and fine for the Low Countries, Germany and Poland though cloud builds at times over northern areas. Sunny and dry conditions prevail over Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
An increasingly dry and fine day for Denmark as well as southern parts of Norway and Sweden. Breezier further north with outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow for northern Norway. A mostly dry and fine day for Finland and the Baltic States though cloud may build here at times.

Heavy showers continue to affect Portugal and Spain but good spells of sunshine will develop in between. Showers tend to fade over eastern Spain later. Rain fades from the Balearic Islands while it is a fine day for Corsica and Sardinia. Italy and Sicily see dry and sunny conditions on Saturday. Greece and Turkey are mostly sunny and dry though isolated showers may develop at times.
Pressure lowers over France bringing increasingly cloudy conditions and heavy outbreaks of rain which spread from the southwest. Staying dry and sunny across the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Early cloud clears east from Poland to leave a dry and sunny day here too.
Patchy rain affects the far north of Denmark's Jutland Peninsula though it clears to leave a dry and sunny afternoon here. Patchy cloud and rain for southern parts of Norway and Sweden while it stays dry, bright and breezy further north, away from the coast. Patchy cloud and rain also affect Finland but the Baltic States look to see dry and fine conditions on Saturday.
