Fresher air moves into Scandinavia while warm, sunny conditions prevail across the Med


Monday
Another hot, sunny day for Portugal, Spain and the Balearic Islands. Heavy showers affecting central parts of Italy through the afternoon. Greece and Turkey should be very warm and dry once more.
A fine and dry day for much of France, the Low Countries, Switzerland, western Germany and western Austria. A few heavy showers and strong winds for northwestern parts of France later. Showers, some heavy and thundery, for eastern parts of Germany and Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Heavy, sometimes thundery, showers too for Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden on Monday. A dry and fair day for northern parts of Norway and Sweden, Finland and the Baltics too. Lithuania may see the odd thundery shower.


Tuesday
Another hot, sunny day across the Mediterranean. Warm, bright conditions continue for Portugal, Spain, the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia, Greece and Turkey. Afternoon showers affecting central and northern parts of Italy.
Showers and outbreaks of rain on Tuesday for northwestern France and the Low Countries. Fine and mostly dry for central and southeastern France. Heavy, sometimes thundery, showers at times for eastern Germany, western Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary.
Outbreaks of rain affecting Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden. This could be locally heavy at times. Light showers too for southern parts of Finland. Elsewhere across northern parts of Norway, Sweden and Finland and across the Baltic States it will be a fair and mostly dry day.
