Cold for much of central and eastern Europe, snow in the east


Wednesday
Cloud and some showers in northern Spain. Cool for eastern coasts of Sain but dry. Fair for the rest of Spain and Portugal with sunny spells and dry conditions too. The Balearics will have sunny spells and scattered showers. Heavier showers in Corsica and Sardinia with the risk of rain and showers for Italy. Rain and wind in Greece as well as western Turkey, although drier in central and eastern Turkey.
Chilly in France with snow showers in the east, fair in the west. Bright and cold for northern Germany and Low Countries. There could be snow in eastern and southern Germany, this extending into Switzerland, Austria and Hungary. Cold for Poland with snow in the west but frosty to the east.
Cold in Denmark with scattered snow showers. Further showers in southern Sweden. The Baltic States will be cold with snow flurries. Finland will be cold too but should be dry. Norther Sweden is cold and bright. Mostly dry with sunny spells in Norway but some rain and sleet in the west.

Thursday
Breezy and cold in Iberia with some cloud and rain over eastern coasts. Drier and brighter for much of central and northern Spain. Portugal should be dry too with sunny spells. Rain affects the Balearics and it will be cold here too. Showers and chilly weather in Corsica and Sardinia. Further showers for Italy and staying cold, the heaviest showers in the south. Greece will be wet with rain, although snow in the north. Wet and windy for much of Turkey.
A cold day for France with sunshine in the west. The Low Countries and much of Germany will be cold with good spells of sunshine. Dry and fair in northern Poland. Some snow showers in southern Poland, Austria, Hungary and Switzerland as well as the south of Germany.
Broken cloud and a few showers in Denmark. The Baltic States will be chilly and bright but dry. Becoming windy in Finland with snow. Gales in central and northern Sweden withu snow here, but drier to the south. Severe gales in much of Sweden with heavy rain then snow in the west and north.
