Cloud builds through the day across the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and Italy but it stays dry and mostly fair here. A dry and bright day for Greece while outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow spread eastward across Turkey.
A band of heavy rain sweeps across France, the Low Countries, Switzerland and Germany on Saturday while cooler conditions, strong winds and showers follow from the west. Staying mostly dry, with just isolated showers and building cloud for Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Wet and windy for Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden. Brighter and drier to the north with just isolated snow showers. After a bright start, cloud builds over Finland and the Baltic States with scattered snow showers developing later.
Further outbreaks of showery rain affect Portugal and western Spain on Sunday - showers often very heavy to the northwest. Drier and brighter for eastern Spain. Showery outbreaks of rain spread from the north along the length of Italy - perhaps staying dry and bright to the far south and for Sicily. Dry and bright for Greece and for Turkey too after early showers clear to the east.
Chilly and windy with showers and outbreaks of rain for France and the Low Countries. Rain heaviest over northern parts of France. A showery day for Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland. Some heavy outbreaks of rain and snow affecting Switzerland and Austria while showers over Slovakia and Hungary turn to heavier outbreaks of rain later.
A brighter day for Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden with frequent showers here while a band of sleet and snow spreads north across central and northern parts of Norway and Sweden and, later, into Finland. Early rain, sleet and snow clears east from the Baltic States to leave a brighter afternoon though showers develop to the west again later.
