Torrential storms in parts of central Europe


Sunday
Chance of an isolated thunderstorm for eastern Spain and central France, but much of western Europe will be dry and very warm. Thundery rain breaking out widely for Alpine regions and southern-central Germany. Thunderstorms also possible for parts of Hungary, Slovakia and Romania. The Low Countries should be dry with some sunshine.
Staying hot for the Mediterranean, with extensive sunshine for Italy, the Balkans and Greece . Poland and the Baltic states should be dry. Staying generally warm for Scandinavia, but thunderstorms affect northern Sweden and Finland, with torrential slow-moving downpours possible.


Monday
A fair day for all parts of Spain with good spells of sunshine. Staying fine in the Balearics with more sunshine. Heavy showers in Italy and these could be thundery. Greece will be dry too with lots of sunshine. Warm and dry in Turkey with plenty of sunshine.
France is going to be dry with lots of sunshine and it will be warm too. Staying very warm in the Low Countries and Germany. Poland will have a scattering of thunderstorms. Torrential storms and some hail could affect Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Sunny spells and dry in Denmark. More sunshine in Sweden and dry too. An isolated shower in the Baltic States. Finland will have plenty of sunshine and be dry. Norway sees isolated showers on the coasts, otherwise dry with sunny spells.
