Central Europe thundery
North sunny, largely dry south.

Rain with thundery downpours across central Europe both days still. Becoming bright and sunny over Scandinavia by Friday. Largely dry across southern Europe.


Thursday
A largely dry day is expected across Portugal and much of Spain, although Spain, although northern parts will see thickening cloud and possible patchy rain. The Balearics will stay largely dry and fine. Greece will see some heavy showers, however the islands should be largely dry. Turkey will see some showers too but these mainly in the northern parts.
With low pressure situated over southern Britain as well as Poland a broad stretch of unsettled weather is expected across France, more so across northwestern parts with muggy and thundery rain. The far south however will see drier and brighter conditions influenced by the high across southern Europe. Germany will also stay mainly unsettled and wet through the morning but should ease off later on with the wetter conditions more so over northern and eastern places. Again, unsettled for the Low Countries but drier conditions expected across northern and central parts of Denmark. Heavy and thundery rain expected across Poland, Austria and Switzerland.
Largely dry across Scandinavia, however over the higher ground in Norway do expect some showery outbreaks of rain. More widespread rain is forecast across Finland This rain is expected to gradually clear to the east of Finland overnight.


Friday
A largely dry and fine day across Portugal and Spain, although again some northern and eastern regions may see some scattered light showers developing. The Balearics are also forecast to see a few scattered showers possibly developing at times but mainly dry with sunny spells. Greece looks to be largely dry and fine although Turkey will continue to see showers develop, some heavy and thundery.
Across central parts of Europe, including Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland will all stay unsettled with showers, some heavy and thundery. Denmark and The Low Countries will also see a wet and generally unsettled day. A somewhat drier day for most of France, however, there will be some scattered showers, these mainly developing across northern and eastern regions.
Largely dry and fine with sunshine across Scandinavia thanks to building high pressure to the north of Sweden, however, with low pressure to the south some far southern regions of Norway and Sweden could see some possible patchy rain. A fine day expected across Finland.
