Rain and showers in northern Europe, better to the south

Thursday
Fair with sunny spells across Spain and Portugal. More sunshine in the Balearics. Corsica and Sardinia will be bright and dry with sunny spells. Showers in central and northern Italy. Greece and Turkey will be dry with plenty of sunshine.
Unsettled with heavy and thundery showers or longer spells of rain in France, the Low Countries and Germany will be wet with thundery rain and showers. Poland will have some sunny spells but also thundery showers. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland will be wet with heavy periods of rain.
Scattered showers and sunny spells in Denmark. Further scattered showers in the Baltic States. Heavy and thundery showers in Finland, some of them prolonged. Isolated showers in Sweden with sunny spells. Showers for Norway.

Friday
Showers in northern Spain on Friday. Most other areas of Iberia will be dry with plenty of sunshine. Fair for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. It should be a fair day over Italy with more sunshine. Greece should be fine with lots of sunshine. Much of Turkey is likely to be fair, although there could be some showers in the north.
Wind, rain and showers affecting France. The rain should be heavy at times, especially in the south. Some of the showers could be thundery. Windy through the Low Countries with showers or outbreaks of rain. Further rain in northern Germany and windy too. Poland should be seeing some showers in the north, but fair to the south. Hungary and Austria are likely to be fair, but showers in Switzerland.
Unsettled in Denmark with rain and showers. The rain affects the far south of Norway and southern Sweden too. The Baltic States is likely to be mostly dry with bright spells, although cloud increases later. Finland will be bright and dry and it should be remaining dry in northern Sweden. Fair mor most of Norway away from the rain to the south.
