An area of low pressure brings unsettled conditions to parts of western Europe


Monday
Cloud builds across much of Spain and Portugal with light, showery rain affecting western areas. Staying dry and bright to the southeast. Heavy rain clears to the south of Italy leaving a dry and fine day for Corsica, Sardinia and much of Italy. Heavy, sometimes thundery, outbreaks of rain affect much of Greece and western Turkey.
Showery rain moves across the northern half of France and through the Low Countries on Monday. Drier to the south of France but staying overcast. Dry and fine conditions extend across Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. The best of the sun to the east.
A dry and fine day for Denmark while the Baltic States will see some good spells of sunshine. Dry here too. Isolated wintry showers affect parts of Finland. Staying mostly dry and fine for Sweden while outbreaks of rain and snow move into southwest Norway and spread north.

Tuesday
Outbreaks of heavy rain affect Portugal and northwest Spain. Staying dry and mostly bright for southeast Spain. A cloudy but dry day for the Balearic Islands, Corsica and Sardinia. Early showers clear southern Italy leaving a mostly dry and fine day across the country. Outbreaks of heavy rain continue for Greece and Turkey, becoming drier and brighter for western Greece later.
Heavy outbreaks of rain spread across France from the west reaching the Low Countries later. A showery start to the day for the Low Countries and northwest Germany. Mostly dry and fine for the rest of Germany and for Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. Good spells of sunshine developing too.
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain for Denmark. A dry and bright start for the Baltic States but clouding over here later. Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain and snow for southern Finland, central Sweden and much of Norway.
