Warm for England and Wales
Overall we expect a rather mixed week to come but with a good deal of dry weather across southern and eastern areas. Overall temperatures are expected to be above normal across England and Wales but closer to normal across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Wednesday 23/08/17 Warm across England and Wales. Most of England and Wales looks fine with sunny spells. Scattered showers to affect Scotland and Northern Ireland. Rain comes into Northern Ireland and north west Scotland in the night. Expect highs of 18 to 25C.
Thursday 24/08/17 Today temperatures drop closer to normal and feeling rather chilly across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Showers to affect much of Britain with heavy rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Most places turn dry by night. Expect highs of 15 to 22C.
Friday 25/08/17 It appears rather cloudy with plenty of showers, some locally heavy. Showers soon fade by evening then dry overnight with clear spells. Temperatures around normal. Look for highs of 17 to 22C.
Saturday 26/08/17 The day looks pleasantly warm across England and Wales with sunny spells. Lots of dry weather to come apart from a few widely scattered showers across western parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Expect highs of 17 to 23C.
Sunday 27/08/17 Outbreaks of heavy rain spread in across Northern Ireland, Scotland and into north west England and Wales. The rest of Britain will be fair and dry with some hazy sun. Very wet across Britain in the evening. Cooler across northern areas, warm in the south. Expect highs of 14 to 24C.
Monday 28/08/17 Morning rain is expected to clear from central and southern parts of England. A few showers are expected in the west in the afternoon while most areas are dry with some sunshine. Windy in the north west. Look for highs of 16 to 22C.
