Staying mixed with thundery rain Thursday followed by low rain amounts for many

The mixed theme continues through the coming week. Heavy and thundery rain may affect much of England, wales and Scotland on Thursday and probably becoming hot for a few days in England, Wales and Ireland too. Fresher weather arrives from the west into the weekend with rain affecting western Ireland and Scotland at times. Low rainfall amounts elsewhere.

Friday 7/7/17
A thundery area of low pressure clears eastern England on Friday morning, taking some heavy rain away to the east. Following will be drier weather, welcomed after the previous wet night. There will be sunny spells developing and it will be feeling fresher, although staying hot in the southeast. Rain will spread into western Scotland and Ireland in the morning, reaching eastern Ireland int he afternoon. Highs at 16C in Scotland, 19C in southeast Ireland, 28C in southeast England.


Saturday 8/7/17
A light northwest to westerly airflow continues through Saturday. A weak front across central and southern England may bring some cloud and a few spots of rain here. Drier and brighter north and west with sunny spells, although soe rain reaching northwest Scotland later. Highs at 25C in southeast England but cooler in northern and western areas with highs at 15C in northwest Scotland.


Sunday 9/7/17
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Sunday bringing some cloud and outbreaks of rain across northern and western areas as well as Ireland. More eastern parts of Scotland and Ireland as well as most of England and Wales should be dry with sunny spells. Tops near 25C in southeast England, 15C in northern Scotland and western Ireland.
 


Monday 10/7/17
A weak front through southern and central England on Monday bringing cloud and a few spots of rain. Showers in northern and western Scotland, some of these heavy. Generally dry elsewhere with sunny spells. Highs at 25C in southeast England, 14C in northern Scotland.


Tuesday 11/7/17
A weak ridge of high pressure brings good spells of sunshine across much of eastern England and Scotland. A few showers in western England and west Wales. Thicker cloud and stronger winds bringing rain into Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 15 to 22C.

Wednesday 12/7/17
Low pressure passes through Scotland and into the North Sea on Wednesday. This takes stronger winds and rain with it, becoming showery as the rain clears. Highs at 14 to 21C.
