Feeling chilly later

High pressure centred to the east of Britain and will act as a block, keeping fronts across the far west of the country. Expect mostly dry conditions this week with plenty of sunshine expected for most areas. Some rain to affect the north west at times. Temperatures will be normal but feeling quite chilly in the wind.

It will become much windier day but it's going to remain dry and sunny across much of Britain. It remains fine and dry into the evening and the night with clear skies. Normal temperatures are expected with high temperatures of 14 to 16C.

Thursday 07/10/16
Cooler but it's is another dry, windy day with plenty of sunshine but more cloud to affect North Sea coasts. Temperatures near to slightly below normal. It continues dry for the evening and night. Highs of 12 to 15C.

Breezy for Friday with cloud in the east spilling westward during the day. This may give a few showers to eastern coasts. Quite chilly in the north. Any showers fade by evening leaving a dry night. Cloud persists in the east. Highs of 11 to 15C.

It stays breezy for Saturday. Rain may reach Northern Ireland with a few showers in the east of Britain. Sunnier across the west. Highs of 12 to 16C. Further spells of rain to come for the evening and the night across Northern Ireland.

A front lies across the west giving some rain to Northern Ireland. Elsewhere we could see a scattering of showers across some part of the country with sunny spells. Highs of 12 to 16C.

Monday 10/10/16
Outbreaks of rain to affect northern Scotland, Northern England and Wales. The rest of Britain remains fair and dry with morning fog slowly lifting. Expect highs of 13 to 17C.
