Monday 09/07/17 Detail is rather uncertain as a shallow area of low pressure resides across central England. A cold front pushes south-eastwards, producing patchy rain in the west & north, which should clear to bring sunny spells later to the north & north-west. Meanwhile, showers are expected to break out across central & eastern England, locally heavy and slow-moving into the late afternoon. A west to north-westerly breeze. Highs 16 to 23C.
Tuesday 10/07/17 Low pressure pulls away eastwards, and pressure builds slowly from the west. A mix of sunshine and showers - these locally frequent for a few hours in the afternoon, especially in eastern regions. Becoming largely dry across Ireland and western Britain. A fresh north-westerly breeze. Temperatures ranging from 14 to 17C in the north & west, 18 to 22C south & east.
Wednesday 11/07/17 A ridge of high pressure builds across the country. Many places fair with spells of sunshine, generally best toward the east. A few residual showers are possible. Weak fronts to the far north-west may bring thicker cloud and a little rain or drizzle. Light winds, becoming mainly westerly, and freshening later. Highs 16 to 23C, warmest south-east.
Thursday 12/07/17 A fresh westerly flow influences the British Isles. Low pressure to the north-west brings rain or showers to Scotland. Scattered showers elsewhere, but very few if any toward the south-east. Sunny spells. Highs 15 to 22C.
Friday 13/07/17 Remaining fairly cool with west to north-westerly winds. A few showers, mainly in northern & eastern areas. Sunny spells. Highs 16 to 22C.
Saturday 14/07/17 Pressure may well build from the west, bringing largely fair conditions. Risk patchy rain far north-west. A little warmer, 17 to 23C.
