Wet with heavy rain Monday

Low pressure is expected to keep unsettled condition into the first part of the week with above normal temperatures. Around mid week high pressure in the east takes over, keeping fronts to the west and bringing a drop in temperatures to just below normal. There is a risk of snow showers then in the east as the winds come around to the north east.

Wednesday 08/02/17
Much of the country should be dry with sunny spells but a few showers may affect eastern coasts. Temperatures will be down from Tuesday as it turns colder from the north. Windy in the north and the west tonight with a risk of wintry showers around North Sea coasts. Risk of a frost across central and eastern areas of England. Expect high temperatures of 6 to 8C.


Thursday 09/02/17
Windier and colder with wintry showers around North Sea coasts and a few could affect the south. Most places dry and sunny. Those showers persist around eastern coasts tonight. Dry elsewhere and staying rather breezy. Highs of 2 to 5C.

 
 
 


Friday 10/02/17
Quite breezy and with the winds from the north east, occasional snow showers to affect eastern parts of England and Scotland and some may penetrate further inland and could give some local accumulations. Temperatures just below normal. A cold, breezy night with a risk of icy patches. Highs of 3 to 5C.
 


Saturday 11/02/17
A cold day with below normal temperatures. A few wintry showers again around some eastern coasts but overall it will be dry and sunny for most. A cold, dry night with a widespread, hard frost along with a few freezing fog patches. Highs of 3 to 5C.

 
 
 


Sunday 12/02/17
It becomes windy in the west and across Scotland as rain moves into western areas and with snow over the hills of northern Scotland. Fog clears the south then fair and dry. In the evening and night it's windy with that area of rain in the west spreading east preceded by snow hill snow. Highs of 3 to 6C.

Monday 13/02/17
Breezy with an area of rain across eastern parts of England and Scotland. This clears late in the afternoon. Brighter to the west with coastal showers. Expect highs of 4 to 8C.
