Dry overall but increasingly chilly

High pressure is going to be having the most influence on our weather in the coming week, but this will be bringing cooling conditions for all. There could be soe cloud and outbreaks of drizzle in the east and south at times, whilst northern and western areas tend to stay drier and brighter. A brisk wind on several days this week making it feel chillier.

Thursday 6/10/16
High pressure is expected to be centred over northern Norway on Thursday. The strong wind becomes more east to northeasterly and will be bringing plenty of cloud to the east and south. Outbreaks of patchy rain and drizzle here and feeling cold in the wind as well. More broken cloud to the west allowing for sunny spells to developing. Brighter in the rest of Scotland and Ireland with some sunny spells and plenty of dry weather too. Tops at 13 to 17C.


Friday 7/10/16
High pressure stays to the east on Friday. This leaves a breezy day with cloud in the east spilling westward during the day. This may give a few outbreaks of rain to eastern coasts and hills. Chilly for many. The cloud persists in more eastern and southern areas through the evening, then spreads west overnight. Highs of 11 to 15C.
 


Saturday 8/10/16
It stays breezy for Saturday with high pressure in northern Norway. Eastern areas tending to be cloudy with some patchy rain and drizzle here. There could be some spots of rain in the far south of England too. Drier in Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland. Highs of 12 to 17C.
 


Sunday 9/10/16
High pressure remains in northern Scandinavia on Sunday. There could be more cloud in eastern and southern England with some outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Staying fair in Scotland, although some cloud and spots of drizzle in eastern Ireland and Scotland. Temperatures at 12 to 16C.


Monday 10/10/16
Little changes on Monday with higher pressure over northern Scandinavia again. This brings a northeast flow to the UK and Ireland. Cloud and some outbreaks of patchy rain and drizzle in the east and south, but brighter and drier in the west. Tops at 12 to 16C.

Tuesday 11/10/16
Higher pressure remains on Tuesday. This is going to be bringing another mostly dry day. eastern and southern areas may have some spots of rain and drizzle, but the north and west should be dry and brighter. Highs at 12 to 16C.
