High pressure to the east will be the main feature of the weather this week with little in the way of rainfall expected across southern and eastern parts of Britain. Northern and western areas will see some rain and drizzle at times accompanied by some strong winds.

Very mild with some rain and drizzle to affect the north and the west - fair and dry in the east with a good deal of cloud. Outbreaks of rain and drizzle is expected overnight across Scotland and south east England. Expect high temperatures of 8 to 12C.


Thursday 16/02/17
It stays mild with a good deal of cloud and showers across Scotland. Sunnier and dry for England and Wales. Windy across northern Britain. Showers lingers across northern Scotland in the night. Fine and dry for the rest of Britain with clear spells. Highs of 8 to 11C.
 


Friday 17/02/17
Mild on Friday with above normal temperatures. Most places to be dry with sunny spells across Wales and England, cloudier across Scotland. Windy overnight with gales for northern Scotland and rain into north west Britain. Highs of 9 to 11C.

 
 
 


Saturday 18/02/17
Quite mild and windy with gales for northern Scotland. Outbreaks of rain run in across Wales and the northern half of Britain. Dry to the south with some sunshine. Damp across the country in the evening. Highs of 10 to 12C.

 
 
 


Sunday 19/02/17
Unseasonably mild it stays very windy in the north with rain for Northern Ireland and Scotland. Dry to the south with a good deal of cloud. Most areas turn dry in the evening. Highs of 11 to 14C.

Monday 20/02/17
Quite breezy today with an area of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland drifting into northern parts of England later in the day. To the south it will be fair and dry with some bright or sunny spells. It continues very mild. Expect highs of 10 to 14C.
