Mixed for many but becoming drier and brighter again next week

The weather becomes more mixed in the coming days. There will be outbreaks of rain with most of it to the west. It should be mild too. Indications are that pressure builds next week once more bringing plenty of sunshine, dry weather and warm conditions.

Friday 31/3/17
Low pressure is in control of the weather through Friday with temperatures remaining above normal. It stays unsettled with an area of rain passing east followed by heavy showers. The showers could be thundery at times. Highs of 11 to 19C.

Saturday 1/4/17
Low pressure affects the country on Saturday bringing a mix of sunshine and showers. The showers will be heavy at times, although they should ease in the afternoon from the west. Highs at 11 to 16C.

 
 
 

Sunday 2/4/17
Low pressure to the east on Sunday with a ridge of high pressure building from the west. There is the risk of an odd shower in more eastern areas, but generally it is looking fair with sunny spells for most. Highs at 11 to 15C.

 
 
 

Monday 3/4/17
A ridge of high pressure remains in more southern and eastern areas of the country. Fronts affecting Ireland and Scotland bringing rain in more western areas. Tending to be dry in much of England and eastern Wales as well as eastern Scotland with some good spells of sunshine. Highs at 12 to 17C.

Tuesday 4/4/17
Pressure stays high to the south on Tuesday with lower pressure to the north. There is a risk of wind and showers affecting Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England. Elsewhere it should be dry with sunny spells. Highs 9 to 17C.

Wednesday 5/4/17
High pressure dominates across the country on Wednesday. It is going to be dry with spells of sunshine throughout. Feeling warm too. Highs at 12 to 18C.
