Tuesday
Bands of showery rain passing north through the UK and Ireland during today. Most of the rain is going to be light and patchy. This morning brings the rain through Ireland, Wales and southwest England.Fog shrouds the hills here. Another area of drizzle affects northeast Scotland. Elsewhere cloudier skies than of late for most. This afternoon sees the showery bursts of rain arriving through northern England, Northern Ireland, Wales, central nd southern England and then passing into the south and west of Scotland. Staying drizzly in northeast Scotland. Staying mostly dry in East Anglia and the southeast. Highs at 10C in northern Scotland, 16C in southern England.


Tuesday Night
A cloudier and mild night ahead. There will be drizzle affecting western coasts and hills with some low cloud here too. There could be some heavier outbreaks of more persistent rain passing into Ireland later. More eastern and southern areas should be drier and staying cloudy too. Mild with lows at 7 to 11C.
 


Wednesday
High pressure stays across central Europe extending a ridge into southeast England on Wednesday. Lower pressure is west of Ireland pushes front eastwards bringing rain into Ireland, wales, southwest England and the west of Scotland. Further east and south there will be plenty of cloud as well as the risk of some drizzle on hills. However, the cloud is likely to be breaking in central and eastern areas in the afternoon with some bright spells coming through. Breezy in the west. Highs at a muggy 12 to 16C.


Thursday
Low pressure stays to the west of Ireland on Thursday. This brings fronts to the west and north with cloud and rain here. The rain is likely to be most persistent over hills and coasts of the west of the UK and Ireland. More eastern and southern areas of the UK are likely to be drier with some bright or sunny spells breaking through. Feeling warm too. Highs at 13 to 19C.
