Sunday
A mild day but quite a windy one and this will take the edge off of respectable temperatures that will be well above normal across England and Wales. Overall quite a cloudy day to with the best of any sunshine to be found to the east of high ground in eastern Scotland. An area of heavy rain is expected across Northern Ireland, south west Scotland, north west England and north west Wales this morning. Some lighter spells of rain to affect western parts of England, Scotland and much of Wales for the afternoon, dry further to the east. Expect maximums of 9 to 14 Celsius.


Sunday Night
A windy evening and night across Britain. Gales to affect the north west of Scotland overnight. A band of rain dissipates across northern England while another area of rain runs in across south west England and the far south of England. During the night spells of heavier rain and drizzle spread in cross Northern Ireland and Scotland. Expect minimum temperatures of 4 to 7 in the north to 8 to 11 Celsius in the south.


Monday
Windy today, especially across northern Scotland and the far south of England. A wet day across Wales, The Midlands and southern England with spells of heavy rain through the day. Brighter and cooler to the north with showers, these turning wintry over the Highlands. Most places become dry for the evening and the night with showers around western coasts. It continues windy overnight and a much colder night to come with a risk of icy patches in the north. Expect high temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.


Tuesday
A cooler day across Britain and quite breezy. A fair, dry day with some sunshine across eastern parts of England and Wales. Showers will affect western Britain and Scotland. The showers will be wintry over the Scottish Hills and Snowdonia. It becomes very windy for the evening and night across England and Wales. Rain spreads into western areas in the evening and lingers across southern Scotland, north west England, Wales and the south west of England in the night. Look for high temperatures of 5 to 9 Celsius.
