Monday
This morning an arcing band of mainly light rain is expected from north east England into the Midlands and the south east of England. This lingers here but it turns dry across the Midlands. The remainder of the United Kingdom will also be dry today. Most of the sunshine will be restricted to Northern Ireland, western parts of Scotland, Wales and the south west of England. Quite a breezy day across eastern England where it will feel quite chilly. Expect maximum temperatures of 16 to 22 Celsius.

Monday Night
A breezy evening to come with some patchy light rain across England and the south east of England. This clears early in the night. Lots of cloud is likely to persist across eastern parts of England. Or the evening with some early sunshine ahead of a clear night. Expect minimum temperatures of 9 to 13 Celsius.

Tuesday
A warmer day to come today and less windy. Apart from the odd, scattered light shower, it's a dry day across England and Wales. Again western areas will have the best of the sunshine. Perhaps the showers may be more frequent across northern Scotland. A fine, mostly sunny day is forecast for Northern Ireland. It should be a fine evening across Britain with lots of early sunshine. Overnight it turns cloudy and windy across western areas as a front approaches and this brings rain in across Northern Ireland, Wales and western parts of England and Scotland. Expect highs of 20 to 24 Celsius.

Wednesday
A breezy and unsettled day to come. A wet morning across Britain with spells of moderate to heavy rain. The rain turns light in the afternoon and will be found across eastern parts of England and Scotland. A number of showers follow on into the west, a few may be heavy. Apart from a few, widely scattered showers near western costs, the evening and night will be fine and dry with clear spells. Expect highs of 17 to 23 Celsius.
