Wednesday
Outbreaks of rain affecting eastern England and parts of eastern Scotland on Wednesday morning. Drier although mostly cloudy elsewhere, perhaps with some brighter spells to the far west. A further area of rain affects western Ireland ion the morning, this spreading eastwards to reach southwest England western Wales and southwest Scotland by late afternoon. Becoming drier in eastern England with lots of cloud, although some bright spells coming through here too. A mild day at 7C in northern Scotland, 12C in southern England.


Wednesday Night
A windy night with showery rain passing eastwards. Gales affecting western coasts and hills as a further area of more persistent rain arrives through Ireland and into southwest England and Wales later in the night. Lows near a mild 4 to 8C.

 
 
 


Thursday
An deep area of low pressure to the west of Ireland on Thursday. It is going to be windy for all with rain through Ireland, Wales and much of England and southern Scotland. Drier to the east of England and in northern Scotland. Little changes through the day, although the more persistent rain may fade in the west. Severe gales for Ireland with some heavy showers here. Highs at 9 to 11C.


Friday
Low pressure sweeps eastwards bringing the potential for a wet and windy day on Friday. Gales could be severe and widespread, although there is much uncertainty about where the strongest of the winds will be. The rain tending to pass eastwards with heavy showers following from the west. The showers turning thundery in places. Highs at 7 to 10C.
