Monday
A brisk easterly wind is expected lessen as we go through the day. Lots of cloud to come across Britain today with the best of the sunshine across western parts of Scotland and north west England. A number of showers to affect eastern Scotland. Much of England and Wales will be dry but a few spots of rain may be found in the south with some heavier showers to affect south western England and possibly the far south of Wales. Expect maximums of 9 to 13 Celsius.


Monday night
There remains the risk of some moderate to heavy showers across mainly the south west into the evening before they clear away in the later part of the night. Any showers too across eastern parts of Scotland will soon fade. Most parts of the country will be fine and dry for the evening and night. With light winds and clear spells it will be quite a chilly night with a frost in rural parts of the north and west. Some fog patches will also develop before morning. Expect minimum temperatures of 3 to 8 Celsius.


Tuesday
Today we lose those chilly easterly winds so it wont be feeling as chilly as previous days. Morning fog patches will clear. For most parts of the United Kingdom high pressure will give a dry day with a mixture of sunny spells and cloud. Best of the sunshine may be across western Scotland, western Wales and north west England. It becomes quite windy in the evening and night across northern Scotland and rain spreads in across Northern Ireland and much of Scotland during the night. With light winds and clear spells a number of fog patches may develop across central and southern England. A frost may also develop across rural areas. Expect top temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius.


Wednesday
Quite a breezy day but it will be milder with the winds now from the south west. Patchy rain and drizzle will continue on and off across Northern Ireland, western Scotland and perhaps Cumbria. Fine and dry across the remainder of Britain with a good deal of cloud from Wales into northern England and Scotland. Some hazy sunshine will be found across The Midlands and southern England. Drizzly rain will persist across Northern Ireland and western Scotland into the night. Look for high temperatures of 12 to 16 Celsius.
