Wednesday
A rather cloudy and much milder start to the day over most of the UK and ireland. It will be breezy through Scotland and Ireland too with some rain in the west. Drizzle and low cloud over the west of Wales and the hills of western England. Tending to be staying drier across eastern and southern England although low cloud affecting the hills here. This afternoon sees more drizzle over western hills and coasts with the more persistent rain crossing Ireland and western western Scotland. A few brighter spells developing in eastern and England. rather breezy, especially in the north. Highs at 11 to 14C.


Wednesday Night
Rain slips into southwest England, Wales and northwest England overnight. This is likely to become heavier and more persistent over western coasts and hills. Drier in the southeast although cloudy too. Dry in eastern Scotland although drizzle in the west, and this affecting western Ireland as well. Lows at 8 to 11C.
 


Thursday
A weak ridge of high pressure is going to be over the UK and Ireland on Thursday. A front wil bring some outbreaks of rain into Wales and southwest England. Rather cloudy to the east, but staying mild and mostly dry. Scotland and much of Ireland have cloud in the west, but eastern areas are likely to be dry overall with the best of any sunshine in eastern Scotland. Highs at 9 to 13C.


Friday
Low pressure ot the west of Scotland on Friday with high pressure over central Europe. It should be dry with broken cloud through most of England on Friday morning. A band of rain crossing Scotland and Ireland, reaching Wales through the morning. Some may be heavy over western slopes. Becoming drier and brighter in Ireland and western Scotland later. Highs at 10 to 15C.
