Thursday
Early rain in the far southeast of England early on Thursday. This is likely to be clearing to the continent during the morning, then becoming dry. Other areas will have a bright and dry start to the day with good spells of sunshine and light winds. Staying fair into the afternoon with further spells of sunshine. More cloud to the north and west but this remains broken. Highs at 19 to 24C.

Thursday Night
Rain arrives into western Scotland and western Ireland during the night. The rain will be edging eastwards as the night progresses. England, Wales and central and eastern parts of Scotland will be staying dry with clearer skies and light winds. Some mist patches in more rural areas by the morning, Lows at 6 to 10C.
 

Friday
An area of low pressure to the north of Scotland on Friday. This pushes a front eastwards bringing cloud and rain across much of Scotland as well as eastern Ireland, western England and Wales. The rain tending to be mostly light and patchy although some moderate bursts on hills in the west. Most of England, eastern Wales and eastern Scotland start the day dry with good spells of sunshine, although cloud increasing the the afternoon as rain arrives across northern England. Becoming brighter and fresher with sunny spells and scattered showers in Scotland as rain clears east. Windy in northern and western Scotland. Highs at 12C in western Scotland, 24C in southeast England.

Saturday
A front clearing southeastern parts of the UK on Saturday morning taking showery periods of rain with it. Brighter and drier elsewhere with good spells of sunshine. There is a risk of a shower over high ground but for most it should be staying dry. Temperatures rising to 15 to 24C.
