Friday A fair start to the morning on Friday for most of the UK and Ireland. There will be some reasonable spells of sunshine, the best of them to the south. Thicker cloud affects western Scotland bringing some outbreaks of drizzle over western facing slopes and coasts. A few spots of drizzle may affect the hills of northwest England and Northern Ireland at first too. These fade with only western Scotland seeing any drizzle in the afternoon. Highs at 11 to 16C.
Friday Night Drizzle again in western Scotland tonight. Elsewhere it is going to be dry with well broken cloud. The best of the clear spells affecting southern parts of England and Wales. Lows at 2 to 6C.
Saturday The area of high pressure slips a little further east on Saturday int the Low Countries. There will be some reasonable spells of sunshine, the best of these in the east. Staying dry into the afternoon with more sunshine to come. Western Ireland and western Scotland may see some lower cloud with a few spots of drizzle here once again. Highs at 13 to 21C.
Sunday Pressure stays high across southern and eastern parts of the country today. There will be good spells of sunshine here and it should stay dry. A front brings some cloud and outbreaks of showery rain into the west of Scotland and perhaps western Ireland during the day, this edging slowly eastwards. Highs at 14 to 22C.
