Chilly, showers in west
Milder tonight

Saturday
A cold start to the morning on Saturday. Good spells of sunshine for many central, northern and eastern areas. A few wintry showers around the coasts here. Further west there will be more cloud although still a few bright spells. Showers also affecting western coasts and hills, these wintry over high ground. Cloud increasing in Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 1 to 3C over much of Scotland, central and eastern England, 5 to 7C in the west.


Saturday Night
Cloud and rain into Scotland and Ireland this evening. Showers affecting Wales and the Midlands as well as northwest England. As the night progresses the rain slips into much of Wales, central and northern England and remains in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Drier in the far south of the UK and Ireland. Lows near -2C in the east at first but these temperatures rising through the night as milder air arrives.


Sunday
A small area of low pressure and its associated fronts will b sinking southeast through Sunday. This brings plenty of cloud and a milder day for all. There will be an area of rain accompanying the fronts and low pressure with rain across much of England, Wales and Ireland in the morning. Probably drier in central and northern England and Scotland in the afternoon, although staying damp and murky in many western and southern areas. A milder day at 6 to 10C.


Monday
Pressure is going to be high over the UK and Ireland on Monday. A front extends from eastern Scotland to southwest England bringing plenty of cloud and some outbreaks of drizzle and light rain in many areas. Rather murky and feeling chilly. Drier in western Scotland and Northern Ireland with some bright spells breaking through. Highs at 4 to 5C in England, Wales and most of Scotland, 9C in Ireland and western Scotland.
