UK Forecast - April 10, 2017
Bright and breezy
Wet in western Scotland

Tuesday
Dry and bright across England & Wales, with sunny spells, best in the morning before cloud tends to fill in. The north-west generally cloudier overall, perhaps spots of rain. North-west Scotland will be wet most of the day - the rain tending to drift further south toward central Scotland by evening, although amounting to very little east of the Highlands. A westerly breeze, strongest in the north. Highs 11 to 16C, warmest south.

Tuesday night
Outbreaks of rain will extend southwards across Scotland, and also into Northern Ireland & north-west England. The rain most persistent over western hills. Partly cloudy skies for central Britain, but staying dry for the Midlands, southern England and much of Wales. Scattered showers follow behind a cold front into west & northern Scotland. A fresh westerly breeze should prevent a frost. Lowest temperatures 3 to 7C.

Wednesday
A breezy day, particularly in northern Britain - risk of gales in northern Scotland. A weakening cold front slips slowly south across central Britain, producing a lot of cloud, and occasional rain, which may persist for west Wales, but amounts small for most. Brightening skies spread from the north, although a scattering of showers affects Scotland - wintry on the mountains. Highs 9 or 12C north, 14 to 16C south.

Thursday
High pressure lies to the south-west, whilst weak fronts move in from the Atlantic across northern Britain and Ireland. A fair day for many places, with variable cloud and some sunshine - generally best in the south. Thicker cloud toward the north-west, with patchy rain for western Scotland and perhaps Northern Ireland, although amounts small. Breezy in the north, light winds south. Highs 10 to 14C.
