Morning Call - September 16, 2016
Wet east
Fresher for all

Fresher for all, wet in the east but brighter in the west

Good morning,

A cloudy and damp morning over central and eastern parts of England and Scotland. Plenty of mist and murk here too as the rain band edges east. Some heavy and thundery bursts of rain through this morning with the focus for these in northeast England, East Anglia and the southeast. Fresher air pushing away the heat of the last few days here too.

Turning fresher, drier and brighter from the west as the morning progresses. A risk of a few showers in western Ireland and western Scotland but generally dry elsewhere. This afternoon sees further rain in the east, again mostly in East Anglia and southeast England.

Drier and brighter to the west with sunny spells and feeling much fresher. Just an odd shower on coasts and hills.
