Light winds
Good morning,
Slack high pressure resides across the British Isles. Low pressure lies to the north of Scotland, where an occluded front approaches from the Atlantic.
The remains of a frontal zone affects southern Britain, bringing a lot of cloud and local spots of rain, or a brief shower. Sunshine generally best toward the east & north-east, and may break through elsewhere through the day.
Winds mostly light and variable, but brisk south-westerlies for north-west Scotland, where rain will develop, turning increasingly persistent.
Today's top temperatures will be 15 to 18C in the north & west, 19 to 22C for the Midlands and eastern England, whilst southern counties may reach a humid 25C.
Have a great day. Garry
