A little rain north
Good morning,
High pressure extends across southern Britain, resulting in a fair day for many. A west to south-westerly flow affects northern regions, and weak fronts bring patchy light rain to the north-west.
The best of the sunshine will be across southern and eastern regions of Britain, whilst the north & west stay largely cloudy. Patches of drizzly rain for western coasts and hills, but amounts small.
Very little wind for central-southern Britain, although a south-westerly breeze freshens in the north, and a cool easterly is likely along the south coast.
After a frosty start, today's top temperatures will reach 11 to 14C, warmest in sheltered spots in the south-west, and also to the lee of high ground in eastern Scotland.
Have a great day. Garry
