The area of high pressure that replaced low will control the weather across much of the country today and throughout much of the week. It becomes increasingly windy across Britain today, the strongest winds will be across the west. Today is a dry day with lots of sunshine to come. Expect maximums temperatures 13 to 17 Celsius.
 


It will remain breezy into this evening and tonight. All parts of Britain will remain fine and dry with mostly clear skies. Not quite as cold tonight wit minimum temperatures of 8 to 13 Celsius.


If you are heading abroad, it turns cooler across Europe with western Europe dry and settled. The warmest temperatures will be found across Spain.
