Sunshine best in west

Feeling cool in the breeze

Good morning,

Many places are likely to start rather murky and overcast, particularly in the east, perhaps with patches of drizzle locally.

Central and western regions should brighten up, and areas to the west of high ground will see a good deal of sunshine, best in western Scotland.

Expect a few showers in east & south-east England, drifting inland from the North Sea coast. Local heavy bursts may affect areas near the Thames estuary, also inland across Kent & Sussex, but these showers quite hit and miss.

Today's top temperatures will be 13 to 17C, warmest inland across southern England, but feeling chilly where exposed to a fresh north-easterly breeze.

Have a great day.
Garry
