Isolated thunderstorms central-southern Britain

Good morning,

High pressure will reside across northern Britain, whilst a weak frontal zone extends across central-southern areas. This produces low cloud for eastern coasts where is stays cool.

Local thunderstorms may break out inland across south Wales and the south Midlands. Gusty easterly winds for southern Britain. Increasingly murky in the south-west later.

Hot and humid in south, fresher in the north with light winds. Sunny spells for Scotland, northern England & Northern Ireland. A warm front will move back north by Tuesday night.

Today's top temperatures will range from 17 to 21C in the north, to 23 or 24C in central areas, but up to 27 to 29C in central-south-western England.

Have a great day.
