Mild & drizzly
Most rain in west

A mild and breezy day, plenty of cloud with most rain and drizzle to the west

Good morning,

Milder air has now spread to all parts of the country. Temperatures are going to be into double figures for most of us this afternoon, and in fact those double figures will be more widespread than they have been for a couple of weeks.

There will be plenty of cloud around as well though and also lots of mist and murk. Outbreaks of rain and drizzle affecting western coasts and hills, with more persistent rain in western Scotland and across wester Ireland. Tending to be drier to the east and south with cloud breaking in one or two spots. Breezy for all.

Then into this afternoon the more persistent rain reaches western Scotland and eastern Ireland as well as western Wales and eventually the far southwest of England. The rain band becomes slow moving over northern England, Wales and southwest England tonight. A mild night for all.
